The Meaning of Sobremesa
Growing up, sobremesa wasn’t just a word—it was a way of life. It’s that stretch of time after a meal when the plates are mostly empty, but no one’s in a rush to leave. It’s when the best conversations happen, when ideas start flowing, and when you get to the real stuff. That’s the feeling I wanted to bring into my work: content that doesn’t just look good, but feels honest and lived-in.
How It Started
Sobremesa Studios began as a simple idea: document the people around me who were doing cool things. Friends launching brands, chefs pushing boundaries, bartenders crafting something different—real creatives with real stories. What started with a camera and a few projects turned into a creative studio that helps brands find their voice through storytelling, photography, and content strategy.
